P-SB7 ITC Research Device
The P-SB7 Spirit Box is a compact tool for attempting communication with paranormal entities.
It uses radio frequency sweeps to generate white noise which theories suggest give some entities the energy they need to be heard. When this occurs you will sometimes hear voices or sounds coming through the static in an attempt to communicate.
The echovox is a relatively new communication tool and it is being rigorously field-tested by many paranormal groups.
The evidence that this apparatus works is overwhelming and SPI are proud to be testing it along side may notable names in the paranormal field.
Olympus Digital Voice Recorder
Voice recorders allow us to capture 'spirit voices' or E.V.P (Electronic Voice Phenomenon)
These words are said to be communications from the dead, whether they are residual hauntings or intelligent spirits.
There is much debate as to whether or not these voices are indeed 'other-worldly' and much information can be found through google.
Compact Digital Camera
This is pretty self explanatory. We mainly use the camera to document our surroundings, rather than use it to hunt ghosts.
However, saying that if we do pick up on anything anomalous in the image, then we can investigate further.
We take three burst shots of each scene, as if there is anything captured, we then have two other images of the exact same scene to compare with.
Notepad and Pen
Another self explanatory bit of kit.
During the investigation we write down:
- Weather/Moon Phase
- People present & current location
- Incidents witnessed/felt.
- Type of experiment
- Time of experiment (Start/Finish)
An EMF meter is a scientific instrument for measuring electromagnetic fields (abbreviated as EMF). Most meters measure the electromagnetic radiation flux density (DC fields) or the change in an electromagnetic field over time (AC fields), essentially the same as a radio antenna, but with quite different detection characteristics.
Apparitions are said to give off electromagnetic waves which this meter can detect.
Never underestimate the power of light. Even the most hardcore of us will get the 'wiggins' at some point so having a handy torch will help dispel the irrationality.
It's also quite useful to see where you are going, to look at the notebook and to see that damned cat which just knocked that plate off the shelf!
